Singapore is an
island with over 50 surrounding islets. Some of these islets
have become favorite theme parks, such as
Sentosa Island.
Others have
become camping spots or resorts filled with water sport
activities. Each have their own special personality.

Kusu Island
A giant sea turtle saves two shipwrecked sailors, a Malay
and a Chinese. As an act of thanks, the two men build a
Chinese temple, a Malay shrine and a huge turtle
sculpture.

Pulau Ubin (Ubin Island)
This rustic village is a reflection of days gone by, when
life was simpler. Try leisure walking or cycling to enjoy
the natural vegetation and laidback kampong ambience of
this quaint island.

Sister Islands
These tiny southern islands offer a quiet respite from
the big city with their laid-back ambience, sandy beaches,

snorkeling, and scuba diving although the currents are
quite strong.

St John's Island
A former penal settlement, this large hilly island has
been transformed into the perfect locale for a weekend
get-away, with swimming lagoons, beaches, picnic grounds,
trekking routes and soccer fields.
