Though there is
great diversity in the animal kingdom in Singapore, animals
can be distinguished from the other kingdoms by a set of
characteristics. Though other types of life may share some
of these characteristics, the set of characteristics as a
whole provide a distinction from the other kingdoms.
One will be
surprised to find so many different types of animals here in
Singapore. Visitors can even observe nocturnal animals in
their natural surroundings. Or watch reptiles being fed. All
these are possible in the "animal kingdom" of Singapore.
